Malaria No More

Mosquito Locket.1 November 2010. In a rare coupling, supermodel Yasmin Le Bon was photographed with her model daughter Amber as part of the campaign to promote Stephen Webster's limited edition Mosquito Locket for Malaria No More UK in 2010. Their joint support was to highlight the fact that women and children are so often hit first and worst by malaria. The campaign featured a range of inspiring faces in fashion and entertainment including Tess Daly, Olivia Palermo, Alice Dellal and rising British star Annabelle Wallis.

Yasmin said: "As a mother of three, it is shocking to know pregnant women and children are the most vulnerable to malaria in Africa, where a child dies from the disease every 45 seconds. The mosquito locket for Malaria No More UK is an inspired piece of jewellery which will help save and protect many lives. I will wear my mosquito locket with pride"

Amber Le Bon added: "It's exciting for my Mum and I to support such a worthwhile cause. We are a close family and I can't imagine what it would be like to lose one of them, let alone to a disease like malaria that is easy to prevent and treat. I think the mosquito locket is stunning and can't wait to get mine!".
